Vultures

from Buried by Scouts Honor

/

lyrics

She says I’m a bad man. She says that I don’t understand that when I left her all alone is when she needed me the most. She was born with a bleeding heart. It was bleeding from the start. A martyr/savior in a college town. Saving souls, but she can’t save her own. Stop being a victim (Please). These vultures won’t treat you right (Right). No one likes getting stepped on (Right?). So, damn it, won’t you find some pride (Stand and fight)? I loved her and I love her still. Like many others, I always will, but I won’t be trampled on for more than a short run. She would have broken me in the long term, for I only had strength for one. Strength for one.
