Men of Money

from Buried by Scouts Honor

/

lyrics

There’s an unrest in the corner of the room. Don’t you look or speak of it, if you know what’s good for you. We don’t like to hear what’s flawed about the things we do. News of foreclosures nearly every afternoon. New Orleans still ain’t right. Now, is that right to you? In our current state of affairs, isn’t there a better use for troops? So, I’ve been waiting. I’ve been waiting. Yeah, I’ve been waiting for a change to come through. Some want a fight where they can stand for what is right. Some want a foe to put their fist between his eyes. Some would greet the day when none of this applies. Yeah, I’ve been waiting my whole life. Working, working just to fill the tank that gets you there to clock back in again. You can’t tell me men of money didn’t see it coming. Call the surgeon general. Call the FCC. I do believe that something about this is unhealthy.
